I bought Panasonic SC-HC25 Stereo System because I could not play many of my CDs on the stereo set I owned. The set was ten years old. That might explain it. I’m thrilled by this set. Not only does it play all my CDs, but the sound if fabulous. We have an open floor plan house and it fill the entire floor. The sound is high quality. We usually only listen to classical music and the system does a wonderful job.

So I was looking for a new kettle which had to have quick boil, a quality feel to switches, quality build, a lift off base & good looks.
And having physically played with all that were available in the two biggest brick and mortar shops, I settled on the Cuisinart CPK17 Kettle. I am very happy with it! For me I would have liked a bit more design flare but it’s far from bad looking. I don’t like the bright blue light which stays on for 5 minutes after the kettle finishes, all Cuisinart devices seem to be following this trend including the toaster (a friend just bought the toaster and they unplug it because of the bright blue lights).
I love the idea of the temperature selection though to be honest I don’t think I really notice the difference! The lid is an easy to open by lightly pressing the button. The switches are a solid quality and feel good (not a plasticy or hinged press type as on others). One slight letdown is the spout pour, when nearing the last cup of water in the kettle spurts of water come off in different directions, as long as you are pouring into the cup correctly and not too near the edge it’s no problem; I was surprised the design team missed this though!
The digital buttons are nice, the kettle is metal so no fear of any plastic odors, the kettle beeps when boiled (and quite quietly with a nice tone which is nice).
The price is quite high if you consider you can buy a kettle that boils water for $18. But if you have a bit of spare cash, want a good looking device, with great build quality & boils quickly (1500 watts), then this is for you. By McP
We purchased a Cuisinart GR 4N 5-in-1 Grill for our own use about a year ago and love it, so in working on our Christmas gift list, we thought of this as a gift for my nephew, which is the reason that we ordered this one. Amazon had an excellent price on the griddler, and we expect that our nephew (who does most of the cooking in his household) will be as delighted with his as we are with ours. The fact that the plates are removable and can be washed in the dishwasher is a huge plus. We have had other griddlers of other brands in the past, but none compare to this one. Just don’t expect to cook more than four burger patties or a couple of ribeyes at the same time, and don’t cook thin meats, as it is easy to overcook. This cooks fast, but the meat is always so juicy when cooked on this griddler. Great for limited countertop space as it is very compact and easy to store.
