Amish Fan:Caframo Ecofan Original Black
We saw Caframo Ecofan Original Black at a friend’s house on their cookstove, and we were only told that it was an Amish fan (no electricity). We wanted to get one for our woodstove for a more quiet option than our blower fan which can be quite noisy. So we looked at Amazon and were surprized by the cost. Then another friend said he had seen them at a country store for even more. So I used points to bring the price down and bought one. We are very pleased with it. We are using less and less propane and heating oil so far this year, and getting good circulation from our woodstove, and this is the only fan we are using to help it. I don’t know how long they last, but the warnings in and on the box tell you to be careful with it, so we will. It’s also quite a conversation item when guests come in. I think it will be helpful during power outages too; to keep the heat moving from room to room. By H. Shirk
