This is my first juicer. It arrived this morning, and I have used it twice so far. I did my research and decided that, based on the customer reviews. This Breville BJE200XL would be a good choice to start juicing with. So far, no real complaints! My first batch of juice was mostly fruit – apples, blueberries, banana and a stalk of celery. Tasty, but like another reviewer, I found myself re-juicing the pulp because of chunks that didn’t juice properly. I figure it’s a learning process. I will get better. My second batch of juice was mostly vegetable – carrots, celery and some grapes. When I cleaned the pulp container, the carrots and celery had both juiced nicely, but there were some unjuiced pieces of grape.

There is a mention in the instructions that juicing things more slowly, like I did the carrots and celery, produces more juice and drier pulp. I’m still working out how to juice smaller things like berries and grapes more slowly – tomorrow, I will try adding them with larger items and see if it helps. The juice is delicious, and I’m really glad I made this investment. By Beth123

After using other juicers I have found Breville BJE200XL is so easy to clean. The 1st step of juice to ending clean-up is about 20 minutes & that’s a real plus.

Comes apart easily & fits back together like a charm, you’ve to make sure that the base is pressed firmly into place or you will get a minor leak. I’m using this 2 to 3 times a day & it doesn’t get much better… tho I haven’t tried one of the $2,000 juicers!

The Breville Juice Fountain is magnificent! I read reviews looking for the perfect juicer for me and this one had great reviews. After using it a couple of times I’ve decided I’m in love! It’s so much fun to use I often juice with the help of my 5 year old nephew. He loves juicing with me! The clean up is really fast and easy. The spill proof juice container lid is awesome and the motor is not to noisy. It’s sleek and beautiful to behold. I’m excite with Breville BJE200XL Juice. I’ve juiced with it for over a week daily. It cleans up very easy and makes wonderful juice.

Pros: It juices very quick and is easy to clean up.
Cons: Because of how fast it juices, you have to immediatly put the lid on or you will get fruit or veggie debris everywhere. Also, when you take the juicer apart it often leaks a little juice.

Overall: I’m extremely happy with this juicer and love that the juice cup attaches on to ensure it doesn’t slip like a lot of other juicers (namely Juiceman). The scrubber/spatula it comes with is also a brilliant accessory. I highly recommend this product. By Melissa Boss

This is my first juicer, so I don’t really have a basis for comparison. But this seems to be a quality product, and its been working great, with no issues.

The 700 watt motor takes everything I throw at it. Apples, carrots, big chunks of ginger root. Its never jammed or stopped.

I’ve watched juice recipes on youtube, and used the same ingredients in the same quantity, and this juicer has yielded more juice than what other people were using.

There is a good amount of cleanup involved. Emptying the pulp, brushing out the filter, cleaning 4 parts, but it’s worth it. And since fruit and veggies aren’t filled with fat, and starch, it never sticks to the parts, and it rinses right off, no scrubbing needed.

The unit itself feels high quality. It’s heavy, and the brushed aluminum surface is handsome. It seems a bit loud, but i’m assuming its normal for a juicer with a 700 watt motor. The only downside I notice is that the pulp catcher is only big enough to yield about 2 large servings of juice (depending on what you’re juicing) before it needs to be emptied. So if you are making juice for more than 2 people, you will have to pause and clean it out. For my needs this is a non issue.

I’ve been making “mean green” juice, and carrot juice. They taste great, and I cant wait to see where it takes me health wise. By the Lorax
